What are Coaching Practice Pods?
Upcoming dates:
All sessions take place at 12-1.30pm (UK-time)
Hi! I’m Natalie, a leadership coach and trainer with 15+ years’ experience working for social impact.
As a coach trainer (on the MOE Coaching Course), I see the huge difference it makes for emerging coaches to witness others’ coaching and gain feedback from trusted peers, through practicing in triads.
And 5 years into my own coaching journey, I still get so much benefit from being coached, and observed by and receiving feedback from, fellow coaches.
I’ve been wondering for some time whether some peer-practice pods like this might be useful to others too.
I hope you’ll join to find out and shape these sessions along with me!
Feel free to contact me with any questions: hello@natalietucker.co
These sessions are for trained coaches wanting to gain practice and insightful feedback on their coaching.
This kind of practice is especially useful for coaches who are:
In the context of these sessions, coaching is about guiding or partnering with clients in working towards what they want to achieve. If you’ve trained in line with the principles of the ICF, EMCC or Association for Coaching, your understanding of the role of a coach will be aligned with the approach of these sessions.
If you’re not sure if these sessions are right for you, feel free to get in touch to find out more hello@natalietucker.co
Each session will follow the same structure, roughly as follows:
All participants are asked to commit to the group contract, which will be shared in advance, including respecting the confidentiality of breakout conversations.
Clear guidance will be provided for the structure and timings of coaching in breakouts, and for offering feedback that is sensitive and useful.
Natalie will be available after the session ends for anyone who needs to debrief anything from the session.
These sessions are offered on a ‘pay what you can’ basis to help cover the time and costs of running them, while keeping them accessible to anyone who wishes to participate.
If you’re not sure what to contribute, here’s a rough guide:
Standard – recommended session contribution for most people: £10
Supported – for people on low incomes or with limited disposable income: £5
Supporter – for people who are financially comfortable and wish to support the participation of others: £15
All contributions are gratefully received. If paying anything at all feels like a stretch to you, please know that you are welcome to join for free. Money shouldn’t be a barrier to your professional growth in service of others.
